Apostle's Creed

We believe in God the Father, Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.

And in Jesus Christ, his only begotten Son, our Lord. Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary. Suffered under Pontius Pilate; was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Ghost. I believe in the holy catholic church: the communion of saints. The forgiveness of sins. The resurrection of the body. And the life everlasting. Amen.

We believe
in the Only true God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:26; Math. 28:18)
That He is
Creator of heaven and the earth, all visible and invisible (Gen. 1:1; Acts 17:24, Hebr. 1:10)
Spirit (John. 4:24);
Immortal (1 Tim. 6:16);
Holy (Lev. 11:44; Jes. 57:15; 1Pet. 1:15,16);
Omniscient (Duet. 31:21; Jes. 29:15; Heb. 4:13);
Love (John. 3:16; 1 John. 4:13);
Omnipotent (Gen. 17:1).

We believe :
In divinity of the Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified on the cross under Pontius Pilate, died and rose again, ascended into heaven and sat at the right hand of His Father (Col. 1:12-18).
That He is
God (1 John. 5:20);
Eternal (Col. 15:17);
The only Savior (Acts. 4:11,12);
Highpriest of the New Testament (Heb. 4:14,15; 9:11);
Intercessor (Jes. 2:1-8);
Victor (Col. 2:15);
Baptized by Holy Spirit (Math. 3:11; Acts. 1:8; 2:4; 11:16,17);
The Lamb of God (John. 1:36).

We believe :
In Holy Spirit as third Person in the Godhead. (Math. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:13), in necessity to receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 19:2,3; Rom. 8:14-16), and the Holy Spirit has all divine attributes. (Acts 5:3,4).
That He is:
Spirit to the Truth (John. 16:13);
Holy (John 14:26; Eph. 4:30);
Omniscient (1 Cor. 2:10);
Sanctifying (1 Cor. 6:11);
New birth Giver (John 3:3-6);
Sonship Sealer (Gal.4:4-6);
Comforter (John 14:26);
Gives spiritual gifts and empowers for the ministry (Acts 4:31; 1Cor. 12:7-11).
Eternal (Acts. 19:2-6; 8:15-17)

We believe :
The Word of God - books of the Old and New Testaments (Canonic Bible) - are inspired by God, given by the Lord and are the only source for knowledge of God and our salvation. (2 Tim. 3:15-17; 2 Pet. 19:21)
Every believer should:
Search the Scripture (John 5:39);
Believe in the Scripture and fulfill it
Do not pervert the Word of God (Josh. 1:18; 2 Cor. 4:2, 2:17);
Do not add and not take anything way from the Word of God (Prov. 30:5,6)

We believe :
All people have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Rom 3:23)
The wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23)
The sin of the first man Adam is carried by all people, therefore every single man needs to be redeemed (Rom. 5:12; 15-17)

We believe :
Concerning relations with other confessions we should:
Be guided by love to the brethren, Christian respect and peace (Rom. 12:10, 12:18)
Seek after cooperation and spiritual closing in with all Christian believers, not demonstrate hatred, condemnation, detraction (John 17:21; Eph. 4:31,32)
Consider all born again believers as children of God. Seek after everything leading to peace and mutual edification (Rom. 14:19)
Be lead by Holy Scripture only concerning different false doctrines and heresies (Jude 1:17-23; Gal. 2:4,5, 1:8, Tit. 3:10,11)

We believe :
All authorities are ordained by God (Rom. 12:10, 12:18)
Church of Christ respects powers and higher authorities.
But Church of Christ is not of this world, Christ the Lord is the Head of it;
According to the words of Christ Church gives to Caesar what belongs to Caesar, and to God what belongs to God (Mark 12:17)

We believe :
in the Second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and nobody knows its day and hour (Math. 25:31
resurrection of dead in Christ and instant change of alive believers will come before the His second coming (1 Thes. 4:13-18)
rapturous church will meet Jesus Christ in power and glory on the clouds (luk. 21:27);
we all shall stand before the judgment seat of Christ so each one will receive according to what he has done living in body, whether it be good or bad (2 Cor. 5:10)
we acknowledge the second resurrection as well and righteous judgment of God before the white throne (Rev. 20:11-17)
"Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power" (Rev. 20:6)

We believe :
According to the promise new heaven and new earth will be done, wherein dwells righteousness(2 Pet.3:13; Jes. 65:17)
The Church and saved nations will live with Christ forever on new heaven and new earth (Rev. 5:10)
